Goju Ryu Karate Do

Students will learn Japanese Goju Ryu ("Hard-soft style") Karate which is an in close fighting system. The style emphasizes base, stability, speed and power through proper biomechanics and breath. Karate focuses on punching, kicking and striking in a variety of ways to defend yourself.

Brazillian Jiu Jitsu

The system is used to deal with self defense situations standing and on the ground. The primary principle of Jiu Jitsu is the blend of good technique, timing and leverage, rather than just pure strength. The art will introduce you to break falls, rolls, joint locks and chokes

Self Defense

Using Karate and Jiu Jitsu as a foundation for physical skills while also exploring verbal and physical deescalation. The goal of self defence is to remove oneself from danger with as little reprocussions as possible (both physically and legally)

Women's Kickboxing

The combative elements of karate with a hint of Jiu Jitsu and Fitness geared towards the self defence concerns of women. This program is offered at different points during the year. Get in shape and learn how to protect yourself!
